What is Voice?
Voice shows whether subject performs or receives the action.
- Active Voice: Subject does action
- Passive Voice: Subject receives action
Basic Structure
Active: Subject + Verb + Object
Passive: Object + Helping Verb + V3 + by + Subject
Examples
Active: Ram wrote a letter
Passive: A letter was written by Ram
Tense-wise Rules
Present Simple
Active: She writes a letter
Passive: A letter is written by her
Past Simple
Active: She wrote a letter

Future Simple
Active: She will write a letter
Passive: A letter will be written by her
Important Rules
- Object becomes subject
- Use V3 (past participle)
- Add helping verb (is/was/will be)
