🔥 Shortcut Tricks

  • Average = Total ÷ Number
  • Total = Average × Number
  • Consecutive numbers → middle value
  • Use remove–replace method

 Solve in 5 Seconds

Q1: Average of 10, 20, 30?

Answer: 20


Q2: Average of 5 consecutive numbers = 25

Answer: Middle value = 25

Q3: Average of 5 numbers is 20. Find total.

Solution:
Total = 20 × 5 = 100


Q4: Average of 10 numbers is 15. One number 25 removed. New average?

Solution:
Total = 150
New total = 125
New average = 125 ÷ 9 = 13.89


Q5: Average of 6 persons = 30. One leaves, new average = 28. Find person’s age.

Solution:
